Chicken Souffle - Another Vintage Recipe

- 1 cup medium cream sauce shopping list
- 1 cup minced cooked chicken shopping list
- 1 teaspoon grated onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup sautéed fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 1 tablespoon minced parsley shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper shopping list
- 3 eggs separated shopping list
How to make it
- Add beaten egg yolks to white sauce then stir and cook 1 minute longer.
- Add chicken, onion, parsley and mushrooms then cool.
- Beat egg whites stiff but not dry then fold them lightly into chicken mixture.
- Pour into ungreased baking dish and place in shallow pan lined with thick dampened paper.
- Bake in preheated electric oven or roaster at 350 for 50 minutes.
