Cheese-Swirled Devils Food Cake

- 1 Devils Food cake mix shopping list
- 1 8 oz package neufchatel cheese, softened shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups water shopping list
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- Raspberry Sauce: shopping list
- 1 10 oz package frozen raspberries shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat 350 degrees
- Coat 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan with non stick spray.
- Combine cheese, 1 egg and sugar in small bowl.
- Beat with mixer until smooth.
- Gradually beat in milk and vanilla
- Reserve this mixture.
- Combine cake mix, 3 eggs, water and oil in bowl using mixer at low speed; then mix for 2 minutes on high.
- Pour half the batter into prepared pan.
- Drizzle with half the cheese mixture; repeat layers.
- Run knife thru batter to make swirls.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake pulls away from sides of pan.
- Cover cake for last 10 minutes if browning too fast.
- Cool pan on wire rack.
- Raspberry Sauce:
- Puree frozen Raspberries in blender.
- Press thru sieve to remove seeds.
- Serve over each slice of cake... and garnish with left over raspberries.
