Nettys Lemon Pepper Chicken

- 2 Small boneless chicken breast shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- zest and juice from 1 lemon(for some real zing if marinated in all day) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic (optional) shopping list
- 1 cup chicken broth or bullion shopping list
- 1 small square casserole dish shopping list
- NOTE: instead of fresh lemon and black pepper, you can use lemon pepper seasoning instead. It just depends on how lemony you want your chicken:) shopping list
How to make it
- If working with frozen chicken please thaw first
- preheat oven to 450 F
- pierce chicken here and there with fork or knife but not too much on a plate
- put chicken in casserole dish
- salt and pepper chicken to taste
- Add garlic if you wish
- pour in chicken broth or bullion
- add the zest and lemon juice to the broth and stir around
- put in the oven at 450 for 30 minutes
- Serve with mixed veggies and my Lemon Thyme Rice
- (NOTE) if you like you can marinate the chicken all day in the fridge then put in oven when ready to cook supper. That way the flavors really soak into the chicken. That's what I do more often than not.
