CORNMEAL PORRIDGE

- 6 oz cornmeal shopping list
- 1½ pt Soy milk or 4.5 cups 2% milk shopping list
- 1 Stick cinnamon shopping list
- ½ tsp Freshly grated nutmeg shopping list
- 5 drops vanilla or (imitation) shopping list
- 8 packs of splenda or raw sugar cane to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the cornmeal and soy milk thoroughly in a saucepan, place over a medium heat and bring to the boil,
- stirring constantly until smooth and thick.
- Lower the heat, add the spices and flavouring of vanilla add splenda or raw cane sugar. sweeten to taste
- Continue to cook for a further 10–12 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Remove the cinnamon stick before serving.
- Serves 4
