Ube is a purple yam found in Hawaii, the Phillipines etc. It has brown skin and purple flesh. When cooked it is so sweet it needs no sugar. Ingredients
- 3 lbs of Ube yams shopping list
- butter to taste shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cook ubes as you would regular yams or sweet potatoes by your favorite method until tender.
- Remove skins. when cool enough to handle.
- Mash well and add butter , salt and pepper.
- Knock the socks off people when you serve these purple sweet potatoes !
