Roasted Garlic Paste

- 1 pound whole garlic heads shopping list
- 1/2 cup pure olive oil shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sea salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Peel outermost layers of skin off heads of garlic then cut off top 1/3 to open cloves.
- Put heads cut sides up in small baking dish and pour olive oil over.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover tightly and place in the oven and roast 45 minutes.
- Uncover and return to oven until cloves begin to pop out of their skins then allow to cool.
- When cool enough to handle squeeze garlic into bowl then add oil from baking dish.
- Mix well until a paste forms.
