Candied Yams

We have this at Thanksgiving time every year. You can make it year round.
Ingredients
- 6 peeled and boiled sweet potatoes (or you can use a large can of drained yams) shopping list
- 4 TBS butter shopping list
- 1/3 Cup brown sugar shopping list
- 2 TBS orange juice shopping list
- 1 TBS Sherry shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 15 oz can crushed pineapple drained extra well (squeeze or press them) shopping list
- small marshmellows shopping list
How to make it
- Pre heat oven to 350
- place sweet potatoes;butter ;;brown sugar; o.j.;sherry ; salt and cinnamon; and 2 eggs in a large bowl.
- Smash together (or beat with mixer)
- pour into casserole dish
- cover with crushed drained pineapple
- cover pineapple with marshmellows
- cook 30 min.
