How to make it

  • Preheat oven 350
  • Trim excess fat from chops and place in a single layer in a 13 x 9 pan.
  • Place garlic cloves around.
  • Evenly divide chiles and press into both sides of chops.
  • Place cheese on top side of chops and add several grinds of pepper.
  • Pour broth over all.
  • Bake 1 3/4 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
  • Place boiled potatoes around chops.
  • Continue to baste all and bake another 15 mins.
  • Serve with the gravy if there is any left.
