Polish Dinner

- 2lbs. sauerkraut, it doesn't matter if it's canned or in a bag. Athough bagged sauerkraut is the freshest. shopping list
- 1lb. Polish kielbasa sausage cut into disks. shopping list
- 15-20 small regular cheese pirogies (frozen works great) shopping list
- 2 large baking potatoes, cut into large chunks. shopping list
- salt, pepper, garlic and seasoned salt to taste. shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to about 350 degrees,
- Throw everything into a large casserole dish or dutch oven.
- Cover with lid or foil and bake until the potatoes are soft and the pirogies are cooked thoroughly, approx. 45 minutes to an hour and a half.
- Don't worry about adding any water. The liquid from the sauerkraut and pirogies should suffice.
- Remove from oven.
- Enjoy!
