How to make it

  • Peel and pit peaches then chop into a pulp.
  • Combine peaches, 1/2 cup sugar and lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Cover and refrigerate 2 hours stirring mixture every 30 minutes.
  • Remove peach mix from refrigerator and drain juice into another bowl.
  • Return peaches to the refrigerator.
  • Whisk eggs in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Whisk in remaining sugar a little at a time then continue whisking until completely blended.
  • Pour in cream and milk then whisk to blend then add peach juice and blend.
  • Transfer mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following manufacturer's instructions.
  • After the ice cream stiffens add the peaches then continue freezing until the ice cream is ready.
