How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 425ºF (218ºC)
  • Line 9in pie pan with pie crust
  • Combine all filling ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Mix lightly
  • Fill pie crust and place second crust over filling.
  • Wrap excess top crust under the bottom crust edge.
  • Press edges together to seal and flute.
  • Cut slits in top crust.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, and reduce heat to 400ºF (202ºC) and bake for a further 40 minutes.
