Ingredients
  • 1 Double pie crust
  • 6 Braeburn apples
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF (218ºC)
  2. Line 9in pie pan with pie crust
  3. Combine all filling ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Mix lightly
  5. Fill pie crust and place second crust over filling.
  6. Wrap excess top crust under the bottom crust edge.
  7. Press edges together to seal and flute.
  8. Cut slits in top crust.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes, and reduce heat to 400ºF (202ºC) and bake for a further 40 minutes.
