Lemon Poppyseed Italian Style Cake

- 300 gr. ricotta / ricotta shopping list
- 300 gr. zucchero / sugar shopping list
- 300 gr. farina / flour shopping list
- 3 uova / eggs shopping list
- 1 bustina di lievito / baking powder shopping list
- 4 cucchiaini di semi di papavero / tsp poppyseeds shopping list
- scorza di un limone / zest of 1 lemon shopping list
How to make it
- Amalgamare la ricota con lo zucchero. Aggiungere i tuorli, la scorza di limone ed i semi di papavero. Piano piano incorporare la farina con il lievito. In ultimo unire le chiare montate a neve. In forno a 180° per 40 min
- Mix the ricotta with sugar.Add the yolks, lemon zest and poppy seeds. Slowly incorporate the flour and baking pwder. Finally fold in egg whites. Bake at 180 C° for 40 min
