How to make it

  • Take the amount of beans you want and pour them into a pot (I used 2 cups)
  • cover with water about 1-2 inches above the beans
  • Boil on low-med for 2 hours, or until beans are very tender
  • Remove from heat and drain.
  • place other ingredients into beans and stir
  • place into blender (this took me a few trips into the blender...do not overfill your blender!)
  • Blend until consistency is what you want (longer for creamy, shorter for chunky)
  • Place into tacos, burritos, a side, whatever you want!
  • Note: it doesn't last long in the fridge so don't make too much. I had one bowl last 2-3 days (we ate it all by then, but the 3rd day it was a little dry since there is no lard)
