Ingredients

Okra about 10

2 eggs

1cup cornmeal

1/2 cup flour

1cup milk

salt & pepper

cooking oil any kind enough to cover bottom of skillet you can always add more later because the okra will soak some of it up

you can also cook these in a deep fryer

Directions

Mix in 2 seperate bowls a little cornmeal and flour

mix eggs and milk in 1 bowl

salt & pepper to taste

wash okra then cut off ends and slice in to little pieces

let drain in colander

now roll a few pieces of okra in one of the bowls of meal and flour then roll it in the egg milk wash , then back into the other bowl of meal and flour then place in the hot oil and fry until golden brown,

place on paper towel and then salt and pepper ,this is good with the mexican cornbread ,green beans, fried potatoes
