How to make it

  • In a large skillet combine beef, onion, celery and bell pepper.
  • Over medium heat cook stirring until vegetables are soft and meat is no longer pink.
  • Sprinkle in flour then stir in broth, mustard and lemon juice.
  • Bring mixture to a boil then cook until thickened then season with salt and pepper.
  • For the crust combine the flours and salt then stir in butter until mixture is crumbly.
  • Preheat oven to 425 then press dough into bottom and up sides of rectangular baking dish.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the bottom of the crust then spoon meat mixture evenly over cheese.
  • Bake pie 30 minutes then transfer to dish and sprinkle with parsley.
  • Serve warm.
