3 Cheese Macaroni And Cheese Recipe Fromscratch / All my dishes

This adds a little zip to a kids favorite to make it one for the parent's too!

Ingredients
  • 10 oz small elbow macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 3/4 cup grated medium cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated feta cheese
  • Olive oil or substitute
  • 1/2 tsp thyme

Directions
  1. Grate cheese before starting
  2. Bring medium saucepan full of water to a boil
  3. Once water boiled add macaroni and keep heating for 7 minutes
  4. Heat up fry pan to medium and add butter
  5. Reduce heat to medium low
  6. Add flour and mix
  7. Add milk
  8. Stir vigorously until bubbling
  9. Add cheese
  10. Stir until creamy
  11. Add 1/2 tsp of thyme
  12. Turn off heat on fry pan
  13. Drain macaroni and rinse
  14. Mix macaroni and cheese sauce
  15. Ladle into bowls
  16. Add feta cheese and serve!
