How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 F.
  • In a large bowl, stir together the biscuit mix, 1/3 cup milk, the egg, and the orange peel until a soft dough forms.
  • Carefully fold in the blueberries.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface.
  • Lightly knead 10 times or until nearly smooth.
  • Pat the dough into a 6-inch circle.
  • Cut into 6 wedges.
  • Arange the wedges on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Brush with the additional milk and sprinkle lightly with sugar.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden. Serve warm
