- RUSSIAN DRESSING: shopping list
- 2 T. sugar shopping list
- 1-1/2 T. water shopping list
- 3/4 tsp. celery Seed shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. paprika shopping list
- 4 tsp. lemon juice shopping list
- 2 tsp. Worchestershire Sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp. vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 c. salad oil (optional) shopping list
- 1/2c. ketchup shopping list
- 2 T. Minced onions shopping list
- MEAT shopping list
- 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 c. Chopped onions shopping list
- 1/4 c. Russian Dressing (see instructions below) shopping list
- 1 T. Worchestershire Sauce shopping list
- potatoes/CALIFLOWER shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 8 potatoes peeled, boiled, and mashed OR shopping list
- 3 califlower crowns boiled and pureed shopping list
- 1/2 c. heavy cream shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 6 T. butter shopping list
- parmesan cheese shopping list
- vegetables shopping list
- 1 (16 oz.) Bag mixed vegetables (see cooking instructions on bag) shopping list
How to make it
- RUSSIAN DRESSING:
- COOK sugar and water until mixture spins a thread. Mix remaining ingredients into sugar-water syrup. Chill (optional).
- DISH:
- BROWN and scramble ground beef in a large pot. Add onions, Russian dressing, Worchestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer for ten minutes.
- BEAT eggs, cream, butter and garlic powder into mashed potatoes (or pureed califlower)
- PUT meat mixture into a 9 X 13 casserole dish, add cooked vegetables next, then top with potatoes (or califlower). Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake at 350 degrees until topping is puffed and browned, about 25 to 35 minutes.
