Ingredients

How to make it

  • Peel and cut up potatoes and the onion and boil until tender; using enough water to cover the potaotes.
  • Chop up the tomatoes (I use a blender but Granny Farr did not have one of these)
  • Pour the tomatoes into the cooked potatoes
  • Mix in a cup or small bowl: flour, salt and pepper.
  • Stir the flour mixture into the tomato/potato mix.
  • ** I add a little milk to the flour mixture and stir until smooth the add slowly to soup)
  • Once the flour mixture is in the soup, stir for about 1 to 2 minuites to allow for thickening and the soup is ready to eat.

I love this. Sounds like something my Grandmother would make. I'm with Granny 'tho-wouldn't use the blender-I'd leave it chunky. Great recipe.
