From bvannetter1955 16 years agoIngredients
- 5 or 6 potatoes shopping list
- 1 medium onion shopping list
- 4 or 5 large tomatoes shopping list
- flour (1 heaping tablespoon or a little more) shopping list
- salt teaspoon sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Peel and cut up potatoes and the onion and boil until tender; using enough water to cover the potaotes.
- Chop up the tomatoes (I use a blender but Granny Farr did not have one of these)
- Pour the tomatoes into the cooked potatoes
- Mix in a cup or small bowl: flour, salt and pepper.
- Stir the flour mixture into the tomato/potato mix.
- ** I add a little milk to the flour mixture and stir until smooth the add slowly to soup)
- Once the flour mixture is in the soup, stir for about 1 to 2 minuites to allow for thickening and the soup is ready to eat.

I love this. Sounds like something my Grandmother would make. I'm with Granny 'tho-wouldn't use the blender-I'd leave it chunky. Great recipe.
