Ingredients
  • 1 - 12 to 16 oz pkg frozen cooked Italian-style meatballs
  • 3 - 14 oz cans reduced-sodium beef broth
  • 1 - 15 - 16 oz can Great Northern beans or cannellini beans,
  • rinsed and drained
  • 1 - 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano
  • 1 - 10 oz pkg frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup dried small pasta (such as macaroni, small shell,
  • mini penne, or rotini
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. In a 4 quart Dutch oven, stir together the meatballs, broth, beans, undrained tomatoes, and vegetables.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in the pasta
  4. Return to boiling and reduce the heat.
  5. Simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes or until the pasta is tender and the meatballs are heated through.
  6. Stir in the sugar
  7. Sprinkle individual servings with the grated Parmesan cheese
