Quick Meatball Minestrone

- 1 - 12 to 16 oz pkg frozen cooked Italian-style meatballs shopping list
- 3 - 14 oz cans reduced-sodium beef broth shopping list
- 1 - 15 - 16 oz can great northern beans or cannellini beans, shopping list
- rinsed and drained shopping list
- 1 - 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano shopping list
- 1 - 10 oz pkg frozen mixed vegetables shopping list
- 1 cup dried small pasta (such as macaroni, small shell, shopping list
- mini penne, or rotini shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- Grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In a 4 quart Dutch oven, stir together the meatballs, broth, beans, undrained tomatoes, and vegetables.
- Bring to a boil.
- Stir in the pasta
- Return to boiling and reduce the heat.
- Simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes or until the pasta is tender and the meatballs are heated through.
- Stir in the sugar
- Sprinkle individual servings with the grated Parmesan cheese
