How to make it

  • In a 4 quart Dutch oven, stir together the meatballs, broth, beans, undrained tomatoes, and vegetables.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Stir in the pasta
  • Return to boiling and reduce the heat.
  • Simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes or until the pasta is tender and the meatballs are heated through.
  • Stir in the sugar
  • Sprinkle individual servings with the grated Parmesan cheese
