How to make it

  • Combine 1-1/2 cups of the cranberry juice, wine, cherries, juice, sugar, cinnamon and pepper.
  • Simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  • Combine remaining tablespoon cranberry juice with arrowroot and stir until smooth.
  • Stir mixture into cherry sauce then bring to a boil and remove from heat.
  • Discard cinnamon stick and serve warm.
  • Great on poultry, seafood or pork.
