- 2 eggs beaten shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs shopping list
- 2 teaspoons garlic granules shopping list
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese shopping list
- oil to fry in ( we use sunflower oil) shopping list
How to make it
- If you haven't bought the beef pre-sliced you will need to slice it very thinly.
- put the flour into a dish
- beat the egg and put into another dish
- mix together the breadcrumbs, paremsan cheese and garlic and place into another dish.
- you should now have 3 dishes side by side.
- Coat a slice of beef in the plain flour.
- Then dip the floured slice into the beaten egg.
- Now place the slice into the mixture of breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese and garlic until it is evenly coated, place on a plate.
- continue until each slice of beef is coated with flour/egg/breadcrumb mix.
- Now heat the oil in a frying pan until hot. Place each slice in the fat until cooked on one side then turn over and cook the other side. each side usually takes about 2 minutes. They do cook VERY fast.
- You can serve immediately or place in the oven to keep warm while you prepare the side dishes.
- Tonight the side dishes are pasta with cracked pepper and new potatoes made into wedges.
- If you have any of the flour/egg/breadcrumb mix leftover you can cut cauliflower into individual florets and coat it with the mixture then fry that as well.
