Crumber Beef With Parmesan Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

Thinly sliced beef. we use about 500gm thinly sliced and it just fed 8 of us. You can buy it from the butcher presliced or slice yuor own steak.

1/2 cup plain flour

2 eggs beaten

1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs

2 teaspoons garlic granules

3 tablespoons parmesan cheese

oil to fry in ( we use sunflower oil)

Directions

If you haven't bought the beef pre-sliced you will need to slice it very thinly.

put the flour into a dish

beat the egg and put into another dish

mix together the breadcrumbs, paremsan cheese and garlic and place into another dish.

you should now have 3 dishes side by side.

Coat a slice of beef in the plain flour.

Then dip the floured slice into the beaten egg.

Now place the slice into the mixture of breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese and garlic until it is evenly coated, place on a plate.

continue until each slice of beef is coated with flour/egg/breadcrumb mix.

Now heat the oil in a frying pan until hot. Place each slice in the fat until cooked on one side then turn over and cook the other side. each side usually takes about 2 minutes. They do cook VERY fast.

You can serve immediately or place in the oven to keep warm while you prepare the side dishes.

Tonight the side dishes are pasta with cracked pepper and new potatoes made into wedges.

If you have any of the flour/egg/breadcrumb mix leftover you can cut cauliflower into individual florets and coat it with the mixture then fry that as well.
