Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/2 gallon buttermilk (do not use a substitution)
  • Flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • Poultry seasoning
  • Dill Weed

Directions
  1. If you have a deep fryer, you should be able to cook everything in about 15 minutes.
  2. 1. Cut chicken into strips. Sprinkle with seasonings.
  3. 2. Pour buttermilk into a large bowl and sprinkle with seasonings.
  4. 3. Put flour into a large bowl (I don't know how much, just enough to cover chicken) and season. To make sure you have the right amount of seasonings, taste the flour. You can adjust it if you need to.
  5. 4. Place chicken in buttermilk and let soak for a minute or so. Remove chicken and let the strips drain in a large collander.
  6. 5. After the strips have drained for a few minutes, coat with flour.
  7. 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5. Trust me. It may seem like a lot of work, but they are so worth the effort.
  8. 7. After the strips have been double coated, place them in a deep fryer and let them fry until they float, about 5 minutes for each batch.
