A recipe for Creamed Cabbage that I found in an old cedar recipe box. The recipe is simple, and it has my grandfather's name on it, so it is probably something he used to make.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups skim milk
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 1/2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp flour
  • salt and pepper

Directions
  1. Heat milk
  2. add cabbage
  3. simmer for 2 minutes
  4. stir in butter and flour
  5. cook for 4 minutes
  6. salt and pepper to taste
