Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine the teriyaki sauce, oil, pepper and garlic. Place that mixture, along with the tuna fillets, in a large resealable plastic bag. Remove as much air as possible, and seal the bag. To make sure the tuna fillets are well coated, shake the mixture well. Place the bag in the refrigerator and marinate for 30 minutes. Then, preheat your outdoor grill at a high heat, and lightly oil the grate. Take out the tuna from the marinade, and put on the grill. Grill for 3-5 minutes on each side (for rare tuna), 5-8 minutes per side (for medium) and 8-10 minutes per side (for well done).
  • NOTE: Cooking times will depend on the thickness of the tuna fillets, and the heat of your grill. To check the doneness, make an cut with a knife and check the color in the middle of the filet.
