An excellent dish to take to a family cook-out. The best part is that it bakes for a long time to enhance all the different ingredients together.

Ingredients
  • 2 (29-oz.) cans Pork and Beans
  • 2 med. green peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. lean bacon, cut in pieces
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients and put in 2 medium sized or 1 large casserole dish.
  2. Bake, covered, at 325 degrees for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. Uncover the last 30 minutes of cooking.
