Chicken Pasta Salad

- 3 Large cooked chicken breasts, cubed shopping list
- 1 bag of multicolored twisty pasta (any 12 to 16 oz bag of pasta works). shopping list
- 3 large stalks of celery shopping list
- 1/2 to 1 red onion (depending on strength of flavor) shopping list
- 1 medium can of sliced black olives shopping list
- 1 c mayonnaise (Approx) shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- If you haven't cooked the chicken yet, I recommend thyme, salt, pepper and chicken flavor in water to boil until done. Then cut them up in desired sized bites.
- Cook the pasta
- While the pasta cooks, dice the onion and celery and put in a large bowl along with the olives.
- Add the chicken after it has cooled a bit
- Drain the pasta (rinse in cold water if desired) and add to contents of bowl. Mix up well.
- Add Mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste.
- Best is to let it refrigerate for a few hours for the flavor to really develop, however, it never seems to last that long in my house. Also, for a family of 5, there are leftovers for several of us the next day.
