Banana Tilapia

- 2 tilapia fillets shopping list
- 1 tbsp cooking oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup of flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 lemon shopping list
- 1 tbsp sugar shopping list
- 1 small banana shopping list
- 1/4 cup of flavored white wine (I used a strawberry & watermelon flavored White Zinfandel) shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Slice the lemon, reserving some for garnish and using the rest to get at least 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
- 2. Mix the flour, salt and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
- 3. Heat the oil in a skillet on medium-high.
- 4. Coat the fillets with the flour mixture and then brown them in the skillet.
- 5. Remove the fish, and pour the wine, lemon juice, and sugar into the skillet.
- 6. While the liquid heats up, slice the banana.
- 7. Simmer the slices in the liquid for about 2 minutes.
- 8. Pour over the fillets and adorn with lemon slices.
