How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325 F (160 C)
  • Grease an 8x12" pan.
  • Bring the first 4 ingredients to a gentle boil in a small saucepan and cook for 5 minutes.
  • In a medium sized bowl, cream butter and brown sugar.
  • Mix the dry ingredients together and add alternately with the milk.
  • Fold in raisins.
  • Spread over the bottom of the pan and top with sauce.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
