Self-sauce Pudding Recipe
Pudding and sauce (and all you need is pantry staples!) You can eat it warm or cold with whipped cream.

Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 F (160 C)
  2. Grease an 8x12" pan.
  3. Bring the first 4 ingredients to a gentle boil in a small saucepan and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. In a medium sized bowl, cream butter and brown sugar.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients together and add alternately with the milk.
  6. Fold in raisins.
  7. Spread over the bottom of the pan and top with sauce.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes.
