Meringue, for solid fruit/cream pies. Especially sweet potato pie.

Ingredients
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 Tbsp powdered sugar

Directions
  1. Mix and beat until mix holds its shape.
  2. Place on top of pie, and put in oven at 300 degrees until the top browns slightly.
  3. This meringue is delicate and should be eaten shortly after prepared. It will weep if left to sit for more than a couple hours.
