Humbleberry Crisp Recipe
HUMBLEBERRY CRISP This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Channing Estate in Paris, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 4 apples peeled cored and cut into chunks
  • 1 pound rhubarb
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats

Directions
  1. Combine apples, rhubarb and berries then spoon into buttered baking dish.
  2. In medium bowl combine flour, sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs then stir in rolled oats.
  4. Sprinkle over fruit then bake in preheated 350 oven for 55 minutes.
