How to make it

  • Sift flour and sugar into bowl, mix in ginger, cooled butter, egg and lemon juice. Press mixture into an 8" x 8" cake pan. Press almonds on top. Bake in 350 F oven for about 45 minutes or until golden brown, cool before removing from pan, cut when completely cooled.
