- 1 TEASPOON FINELY GRATED lemon zest shopping list
- 1/4 CUP olive oil shopping list
- 2 TABLESPOONS BALSAMIC vinegar ......( YUM) shopping list
- 2 TABLESPOONS pesto sauce shopping list
- 2 PIECES OF FOCCACIA CUT IN HALF HORIZONATALLY ................. ( I LOVE THIS bread ) shopping list
- SMALL HANDFUL OF RED CHARD LEAVES shopping list
- salt AND PEPPER TO TASTE shopping list
How to make it
- PLACE THE PEPPERS CUT SIDE UP IN A ROASTING PAN AND PLACE THE FETA SLICES INSIDE EACH HALF.
- SCATTER WITH OREGANO AND LEMON ZEST AND SEASON WELL.
- DRIZZLE WITH THE OLIVE OIL AND BALSAMIC VINEGAR AND COOK IN A PREHEATED OVEN 350 DEGREES F. FOR 25 TO 30 MINUTES.
- UNTIL THE PEPPERS ARE SOFTENED AND STARTING TO BLACKENED AROUND THE EDGES. SET ASIDE AND COOL........
- SPREAD THE PESTO OVER THE BASES OF THE FOCCACIA AND ARRANGE THE CHARD LEAVES ON TOP.
- LAYER THE PEPPERS OVER THE CHARD AND TOP WITH THE LIDS.
- TOAST IN A SANDWICH GRILL FOR 3 TO 4 MINUTES UNRIL BREAD IS GOLDEN AND THE LEAVES ARE WILTED.
