Ingredients
  • About 2 sleeves of saltine crackers
  • 2 sticks of salted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 12 oz. bag of chocolate chips

Directions
  1. Line a cookie sheet with foil
  2. Lay crackers so they fill the pan and are touching, salt side up
  3. Melt butter and boil sugar for 2 minutes (stir constantly so it doesn't burn)
  4. Pour butter mix over crackers and bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until lightly golden and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediatly sprinkle chocolate chips over the top
  6. As the chips begin to melt, spread them out evenly with a knife until all of the crackers are covered.
  7. Put in freezer for about 20 minutes or until hard.
  8. Take out and break apart like peanut brittle.
  9. Store in fridge in a plastic container.
  10. Before you put in freezer, you can top with pecans or walnuts.
