How to make it

  • Saute onions and peppers till soft
  • remove from skillet
  • Saute sausage till brown, but not totally cooked.
  • Remove from skillet and place in bowl with onions and peppers.
  • Pour oil out of skillet, but do not scrape drippings out.
  • Pour small amount of beer in bottom of skillet.
  • Stir and scrape bottom to mix and remove drippings.
  • Now pour remaining 2 beers in skillet.
  • Add tomato paste, stir
  • Add garlic and oregano.
  • Now add sausage, onions and bell peppers.
  • Add sugar and stir
  • As it simmers start adding crushed red peppers, salt and pepper
  • Simmer until sausage is cook through about 10-15 mins.
  • Serve over French Bread, Noodles, or Rice your choice!
