Ingredients
  • 3 lbs. Hot Italian Sausage (Johnsonville) cut in bite size pieces
  • 2 bell peppers cut in strips
  • 2 onions diced
  • 2 12 oz. cans of beer your choice 3 if ya want to drink 1 while you're cooking
  • 1 6oz can tomato paste
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • crushed red pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar

Directions
  1. Saute onions and peppers till soft
  2. remove from skillet
  3. Saute sausage till brown, but not totally cooked.
  4. Remove from skillet and place in bowl with onions and peppers.
  5. Pour oil out of skillet, but do not scrape drippings out.
  6. Pour small amount of beer in bottom of skillet.
  7. Stir and scrape bottom to mix and remove drippings.
  8. Now pour remaining 2 beers in skillet.
  9. Add tomato paste, stir
  10. Add garlic and oregano.
  11. Now add sausage, onions and bell peppers.
  12. Add sugar and stir
  13. As it simmers start adding crushed red peppers, salt and pepper
  14. Simmer until sausage is cook through about 10-15 mins.
  15. Serve over French Bread, Noodles, or Rice your choice!
