	easy side cheddar cheese nuts pecans onion

Ingredients

1 pound sharp cheddar cheese grated

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup mayonnaise

1/2 onion grated finely

Salt and pepper to taste

Cayenne pepper

Strawberry preserves

Directions

Combine first five ingredients and stir until moist.

Spread evenly in mold or form ring in pretty bowl creating center hole by inserting a narrow cup.

Sprinkle cheese mixture with cayenne pepper then refrigerate.

Unfold mold or pull cup out of center.

Fill hole with good strawberry preserves right before serving.

Spread cheese and a dollop of strawberry preserves over butter or wheat crackers.
