FESTIVE HAM AND CHEESE SPREAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Dingo Estate in Austin, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup chopped fully cooked ham
  • 4 ounces shredded Swiss or cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions
  1. In mixing bowl beat cream cheese, sour cream and soup mix until smooth.
  2. Stir in ham and cheese then form into a ball or spoon into a plastic wrap-lined mold.
  3. Roll in parsley or sprinkle parsley on top then refrigerate until ready to serve.
