Easy Custard Cake Recipe
Yummy and simple custard cake which is a perfect companion for tea in the evening!

Ingredients
  • 100 gm flour
  • 100 gm butter
  • 100 gm sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 5 tbsp custard powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup cashew or any other nuts (optional)

Directions
  1. Make sure all the ingredients are in room temperature.
  2. Preheat the oven at 180 degree c
  3. Butter a medium cake tin(Sorry I don't know the measurements)
  4. Sift the flour and baking powder.
  5. Mix the butter and sugar on low
  6. Add eggs
  7. Gently add flour little by little (Make sure the speed is on low)
  8. Now combine the milk and custard together separately.
  9. Add the custard mixture to the batter.
  10. Mix in the vanilla
  11. Give the batter a good whip on high speed (not too much)
  12. Add the nuts and stir it with a spoon
  13. Pour the batter into the cake tin and bake on 170 degree c for 45 min
  14. Check with a skewer to see if done.
  15. Cool and serve with tea. Enjoy!
