How to make it

  • in a large pot put in beef stock
  • cut up all the vegies and put in
  • chop chilly and put in
  • add the other water plus 1 and a half cups of red lentils
  • put on stove and cook till veggies are soft
  • remove the chilly unless you want it left in
  • use a potatoe masher on the rest of the vegies mash then up a bit.
  • leave it to cook for a bit longer then dish up and enjoy
  • nice with some crusty bread
