Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 kg ground beef
  • 2/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 teaspoon scallions
  • 2 teaspoon basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 tablespoon Dijon mustard divided
  • 4 tablespoons honey divided

Directions
  1. mix beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onions, scallions and seasonings
  2. add2 tablespoons mustard and 2 tablespoons honey. mix well
  3. shape into 2 loafs
  4. place in pans, cover with foil.
  5. to freeze: freeze and thaw in fridge for 36-48 hrs
  6. bake 40 min. on 180 deg.
  7. combine 2 tablespoons of honey and mustard to make a glaze.
  8. pour over loaf and bake uncovered for 20 min.
  9. -if frozen bake for 60 min, uncover, glaze and bake for 20 min.
