Homemade Latin American Caramel Sauce-Dulce De Leche

- 1 can sweetened condensed milk, unopened shopping list
- 1 crockpot shopping list
- water to cover. shopping list
How to make it
- Keep crockpot on low, cover the can,
- Keep at a low boil for two to three hours, making sure the water level
- always stays above the top of the can (if the can isnt submerged, it
- may explode).
- The longer it cooks, the thicker the dulce de leche will be; after two hours, youll be able to drizzle it, and after three hours, it will be thick enough to sandwich cookies.
- Make sure the can is thoroughly cool before you open it.
- Remeber, keep a high enough water level that even evaporation shouldn't cause problems.
- It is easy and delicious.
