Fairie Apples Recipe

How to make it

  • Cook apples in a saucepan over very low heat.
  • Combine "fairie" ingredients in a mixer.
  • Mash the apples with a potato masher and place in a casserole dish.
  • Spoon "fairie" mixture onto the top.
  • Place in a pre-heated oven at 200C degrees for about 25 mins.
  • If "fairie" mixture is not cooked through, place aluminium foil on top and cook for a further 15 mins or so.
  • Serve:
  • With custard or ice-cream of choice.
