Lamb with Okra Syrian Stylebamya

- 2 lb lamb shoulder shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup tomato sauce shopping list
- 1/2 lb Dried okra shopping list
- 2 cup Meat stock shopping list
- 1/4 cup Cooking fat shopping list
- 1 x lemon , juice of shopping list
- 2 tbl Minced parsley shopping list
- salt & pepper shopping list
- 1 sm clove garlic, minced shopping list
How to make it
- Simmer lamb in water to cover until tender, about 2 hours. Boil okra in salted water 20 minutes, then drain and brown in hot fat with parsley and garlic. Cut cooked lamb into small pieces and add to okra mixture with tomato sauce, stock and lemon juice. Serve hot with steamed rice.

I love this dish! My grandmother would dry the okra on strings to make this in the winter. Sometimes she would use dried green beans too. Very Nice Recipe... Thanks Jim
