Sausage soup

- 7 three cheese and pepper sausages Cut in 1/2 inch pieces shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves chopped shopping list
- 1 sm onion chopped shopping list
- 1 cup mushrooms chopped shopping list
- 1 lg can crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 red bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 1 zucchini chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup sweet peppers chopped shopping list
- 1 jalapeno pepper seeded and chopped shopping list
- 2 or 3 celery ribs chopped shopping list
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1tsp basil shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 4cup boxes vegetable stock shopping list
- cornstarch and water to thicken to your liking. shopping list
How to make it
- Saute sausage, onion, and garlic in heavy stockpot for 4-5 min.
- Add mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, celery and seasonings. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add stock. Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
- At this time you can decide if you want it a little thicker, and add cornstarch mix.
