Shrimp In Beer Recipe
Another perfect dish to end an evening. The kind of dish you make when it's late, you and your friends are still not willing to call it an evening, and you don't want something sweet.

Ingredients
  • 4 c. beer (flat)
  • 3 diced shallots
  • 2 medium onions
  • 3 oz. butter
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 2 lbs peeled shrimp
  • Salt
  • Beaten egg yolk

Directions
  1. Boil together everything except the shrimp and egg yolk.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook, simmering, for another 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the shrimp, strain the sauce.
  4. Thicken the sauce with teh egg yolk, and pour over the shrimp.
