- 1 cup margarine or butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 2 1/4 cups Unsifted flour shopping list
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3/4 cup Finely chopped nuts (walnuts usually but any kind will do) shopping list
- and a little more powdered sugar for later to roll them in shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 400
- Mix butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, and Vanilla.
- Mix in flour, salt, & nuts until dough holds together.
- Shape the dough in to 1 inch balls (1/2 inch if you want them to last longer)
- Place about 1 inch apart on an un greased cookie sheet.
- Bake until set, but not brown. (10-12 min)
- Roll in powdered sugar while warm; cool.
- Roll in powdered sugar again.
- (Yields aprox 4 dozen)
