Buffalo Pie

- 1-1/2 pounds buffalo steak cubed shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1 medium white onion chopped shopping list
- 1 clove minced garlic shopping list
- 3 tablespoons oil shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon marjoram shopping list
- 1 teaspoon thyme shopping list
- 1 teaspoon celery seed shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 1 cup diced potatoes and carrots shopping list
- 1 cup frozen peas shopping list
- 1 pie crust shopping list
How to make it
- Shake cubed steak in plastic bag with flour a few cubes at a time.
- Brown steak and onions with garlic in heated oil until browned.
- Add water, herbs, Worcestershire, salt and pepper then bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 1-1/2 hours then add potatoes and carrots and cook 45 minutes.
- Add peas then pour into pie pan and cover with pie crust.
- Flute edge cut slits in top and bake 20 minutes.
