How to make it

  • Shake cubed steak in plastic bag with flour a few cubes at a time.
  • Brown steak and onions with garlic in heated oil until browned.
  • Add water, herbs, Worcestershire, salt and pepper then bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 1-1/2 hours then add potatoes and carrots and cook 45 minutes.
  • Add peas then pour into pie pan and cover with pie crust.
  • Flute edge cut slits in top and bake 20 minutes.
