Yankee Fiddlehead Pie

- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1 cup fiddleheads cooked and chopped shopping list
- 2 tablespoons leeks chopped and cooked shopping list
- 1 tablespoon parsley chopped shopping list
- 1 cup mild cheddar cheese shredded shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 pie crust partially baked shopping list
- 9 or 10 whole cooked fiddleheads shopping list
How to make it
- Beat eggs with milk until blended.
- Fold in chopped fiddleheads, leeks and parsley then half of the grated cheese.
- Season with salt to taste then turn into partially baked shell and sprinkle on remaining cheese.
- Decorate edge with whole fiddleheads then bake in preheated 350 oven for 40 minutes.
- Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
