Got this recipe from my sister. Easy, easy but yummy version of fettuccine alfredo. It's not as creamy as say, the sauce you can buy at the store, but I think the flavor is killer! Ingredients
- 8 oz uncooked fettuccine shopping list
- chicken, boiled and cut into small cubes shopping list
- frozen chopped broccoli, prepared according to directions on pkg shopping list
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- dash of pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Cook fettuccine as directed on package. While fettuccine is cooking, prepare the alfredo sauce.
- Heat margarine and whipping cream in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until margarine is melted. Stir in cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Prepare chicken and broccoli while the rest is boiling and toss with fettuccine and sauce until well coated.
