California Flank Steak Recipe
CALIFORNIA FLANK STEAK This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Viler Estate in Georgetown, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 32 ounce flank steak cut into 4 serving size portions
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients except steak in a bowl then pour over steaks in a sealable container.
  2. Marinate one hour shaking every 15 minutes.
  3. Grill to desired doneness and allow to sit 10 minutes before serving.
